Bot permissions
When you invite Iridex, it requests these Discord permissions:
- Manage Roles — for autorole,
/addrole,/removerole,/temprole. - Manage Channels — to create ticket channels, and for
/slowmode,/lock,/unlock. - Manage Messages — for
/purge. - Kick / Ban Members — for
/kick,/ban, and/unban. - Moderate Members — for
/timeoutand/untimeout. - Send Messages / Embed Links / Attach Files — to reply to commands and post welcome/ticket messages.
- Read Message History — for ticket support staff.
Iridex's highest role must be above any role it needs to manage — a Discord-wide rule for all bots, not specific to Iridex.
Command permissions
Each command lists a required Discord permission on its commands page — Discord hides commands from members who don't have that permission automatically. Commands marked None are usable by everyone.
Dashboard access
You can manage a server on the Iridex dashboard if:
- you have the Administrator permission in that server, or
- a server Administrator granted you access via
/dashboardaccess action:add user:@you, or the dashboard's Staff Access tab.
